about
Majo Herseg (b. 1993, Mexico City, MX) is a free spirited flower; multimaterial creatress, interactive installation artist, teacher, producer & infinite explorer. Her work is driven by a childlike sensitivity and curiosity with which she shares how she experiences the world. She has remembered not to be afraid of feeling hope for a better present, thus seeking to create gentle & serene pieces which conduct to a more connected future in which we can all reconnect with the essentials of living, playing, feeling and understanding.
She taught ceramics clases at El Engño (casa-cerámica) from january 2021 till april 2022, when she decided to venture into the creation of her own personal ceramic studio.
She also has a brand/project -@cumulus.mx- where she creates utilitary moments for the everyday living.
She creates, and recurrently hosts, diverse workshops in which she promotes exploration, enjoyment and creativity for all the wandering souls who want to get in touch with their creative self.
She co-created “amalgama” with Pascale Ussel, a retreat in which everyone is invited to explore their connection to their bodies, minds, inner child and everything around them.
Majo is currently developing a studio in a mystic paradise near Mexico City where she will welcome artist residencies and where she also holds VAWAAs for whomever wants to come learn what she teaches from the heart.
She is based in mexico city and available for adventures worldwide.
